Calling all sandwich lovers…our Hox Sarnie Special has landed in Southwark.
The Hox Sarnie Special is our monthly rotating sandwich series in the lobby at The Hoxton, Southwark. Each month we’re teaming up with some of London’s most exciting food talent, alongside seasonal creations from neighbourhood restaurant Albie, serving up one-off sandwiches designed to celebrate great produce and culinary creativity.
June: Bad Boy Pizza Society (named number 3 best pizza in London by Time Out) Vodka Parm alla Prosciutto. Crispy chicken, vodka sauce, prosciutto, whipped ricotta and triple cheese on a ciabatta roll, washed down with an ice cold Lucky Saint.
JULY: Londis N16 – the Stoke Newington family-run corner shop for The Samosa Smash: a vegetable samosa layered with sambharo, cheddar, coriander and garlic mayo, plus sweet chilli jam, all stacked inside thick-cut farm-style bread.
AUGUST:
We’re bringing things in-house for August, with an Albie chef special: Chef Memen’s Spiced Lamb Wrap. Inspired by Istanbul’s street food scene, tuck into a warm wrap packed with slow-roasted lamb shoulder, tahini yoghurt, sumac onions, herb salad, harissa, smoky Urfa chilli and a cherry tomato dip.Pair it with a Lucky Saint Lager for the perfect lunchtime combo.
Available throughout August in the Southwark lobby – get it whilst it’s hot.
