We’re Here To Do Good

As a hospitality brand, it’s our business to look out for others. For our guests, our neighbours, our people and our planet. Whether it’s caring for our community through our Good Neighbours initiatives or being transparent about the steps we take to make a difference, these are some of the good things we’re doing to become a more sustainable and responsible brand. We call it The Good Stuff.

Local neighbourhoods are what make us, and it’s important for us to give back to the communities we call home. But we understand that to make a real difference, this commitment must go beyond the streets and scenes that surround us and extend to the global community and our planet. Because looking out for these makes us a better host to all.

All neighbourhoods deserve a better future. We’re already on our way to becoming a more sustainable neighbour, from eliminating single-use plastic from Hoxtons globally to continuously looking for vintage or recycled materials to decorate our rooms, but we want to do more. We’ve set lofty goals across all the key departments that make up a Hox, and aim to meet the biggest in 2030.

Actions speak louder than words.

The Hoxton has always been a place for guests and locals to hang out side-by-side in our lobbies, bars and restaurants. The communities around us form the backbone of everything we do. So, our Good Neighbours initiative was introduced to help those who need it most in our own backyards, from fundraising projects including Stay For A Stay in aid of our partner homeless shelters to regular volunteering shifts and donation of much needed bedding, toiletries, appliances and food to local charities, projects and foodbanks.

As we progress through 2023, you’ll find ‘good to know’ tips, facts and figures dotted around our hotels, restaurants and event spaces – our way of supporting guests in making more sustainable choices during and after their stay. We also partner with like-minded brands that share the same ethos, and point guests and locals in the direction of neighbourhood spots doing their bit for a better future in The Good Guide. We practice what we preach and action greener, better choices on a daily basis.
