Travelling light? We’re less than 3 minutes walking from Edinburgh Haymarket station. If you’re travelling by train or you can hop on a tram and stop at ‘Haymarket’ if you’re landing at Edinburgh Airport. Otherwise, jump on a cab if you’re in a rush and you’ll be at the airport in 25-minutes.
If you’re coming from Edinburgh Airport, it’s a quick 20-25 minute trip by car or tram – stress-free, just how we like it.
The Hoxton, Edinburgh is perfectly placed for getting around the city and beyond. Haymarket Station is just a 2-minute walk away, with regular trains and trams running across Edinburgh and further afield. The nearest tram stop is also at Haymarket, about a 7-minute walk from the property.
You can choose your own check-in/out time for free with our Flexy Time initiative, which is available to anyone who books direct on our website up to 72 hours in advance. Otherwise, regular hotel check-in is 2pm.
Yes, we allow for early check-in, but it depends on availability. It’s a good idea to contact us before your arrival to check if we can accommodate an early check-in.

Already booked, but want more time in your room than first planned? Ask Reception to extend your check-out time for just £10 an hour up till 4pm.
We’re always more than store luggage free of charge during your stay at the Hoxton, and you’re welcome to leave your bags with us during the day, on the day you check-in or check-out.
Yes! We have Hox Brompton bikes that are free to use throughout your stay. Just ask at front desk for the lowdown.
Yes, we can book a taxi on your behalf. Just contact the front desk and we’ll do the rest.
Beers, wines and a selection of sweet and savoury snacks are available to buy at high-street prices — no mega mini-bar bills here! Head down to the lobby and fill your fridge!
Why do laundry when we can do it for you? Just pop any dirty laundry in the bag in your room and hand it to front desk, who’ll get it all cleaned and delivered back to you for a small charge.
Hey there, gym bunny! There are plenty of great gyms and fitness studios around us. Hit up front desk and pick up a day pass for one of our faves.
We’re home to 214 bedrooms, including doubles, twins, singles, bunks and even 3-bedroom apartments. You name it, we’ve got it covered – complete with unique Hox design and all our usual luxe comforts. The Hoxton, Edinburgh is also pleased to debut our all new ‘Houses’: three-bedroom hotel apartments with living, dining and kitchen space that are tailored to those planning longer or larger group stays in the city.
The maximum number of people in a room is two. However we can accommodate infants with travel cots sharing their parent’s room. Travel cots are available free of charge from the hotel. As soon as you have made your reservation, please call the hotel directly in order to check the availability and book a cot. Bigger kids? Take a look at our adjoining bunk bed rooms or enquire for other interconnecting rooms.
Yes! All of our rooms have a hair dryer for all your primping and preening needs.
Yes, Just let our Front desk team know which time you would like a wake up call and we’ll do the rest.
Upon request and at a cost, we would be happy to place items in your room for you to enjoy. Please reach out to us in advance!
Yes, we have a limited supply of International chargers for guests upon request. You can ask for one at the front desk if you need it.
Fancy a light breakfast? Just fill in the bag on your desk, pop it on the hook outside your room, and it will be waiting for you filled with pastry, OJ and a piece of fruit when you wake up in the morning. A £5 charge will be added to your bill upon check out.
Yes, room service is available between the hours of 7am until 10pm serving a range of dishes from our Patatino and lobby bar menu’s
Yes, we can make restaurant reservations on behalf of our guests. Hotel reservations may be made by someone else however the name on the booking will need to be verified with ID upon check in
Our change and cancellation terms vary per type of booking, but many of our rates are fully cancellable when you book on our website. Please refer to the T&Cs displayed during the booking process and in your confirmation email.

Reservations must be guaranteed with a credit or debit card at the time of booking. Payment is taken upon check-out unless stated otherwise. Please refer to our payment policy and T&Cs when booking online.
Flexy Time lets you check in and out whenever you like, for free when you book direct. Just book at least 72 hours in advance.
