Hox Gallery Presents: Mamie Young

Ever look at an inflatable pool floatie and get hit with deep, unexpected feelings? Same! Turns out, things get a little deeper.

We’re giving the Hox Gallery over to LA-based painter, Mamie Young. Young’s latest work uses inflatables to explore identity and emotions in the most unexpected ways, as well as what it means to carry emotional weight in a culture built on mass production.

Join us in the lobby for the opening party on Sunday, November 8th. We’ll have live music, good company, and complimentary beer and wine flowing from 4-6pm.

Swing by to meet the artist, raise a glass, and leave with a whole new perspective on inflatable objects. RSVP here and we’ll see you there!
