Our Neighbourhood

We like to think we’re in a bit of a sweet spot here in Rome, with some of the city’s most beautiful parks, coolest cultural spots, and best gelato on our doorstep. Shadow Bloom by Michele Marconi

Michele Marconi’s solo exhibition at The Hoxton Rome explores the idea of visual evolution generated by cultural change: shapes, shadows and colors bloom cyclically, changing with us, through time. Inspired by Villa Borghese and Coppedè, the historic district of Rome, each illustration has a second hidden subject, which becomes the protagonist once identified. Thanks to Roberto Fontana of PPPattern for the wallpaper.
