Hox Gallery Presents: Gemma Correll

Where The Hoxton, Downtown LA
When On view until January
Tickets Free

Gemma Correll is a cartoonist, writer, and illustrator from England, now based in Los Angeles. Best known for her painfully relatable comics about anxiety, self-care, and the everyday absurdities of life, she’s also the author of several books including A Pug’s Guide to Etiquette, The Worrier’s Guide to Life, and The Feminist Activity Book.

Gemma studied Graphic Design and Illustration in Norwich, where she earned a BA. Her charmingly wonky hand-drawn style has found its way into the pages and products of The New York Times, Hallmark, Amazon, Chronicle Books, and Oxford University Press.

We’ve got her works in the Hox Gallery for the next 3 months, drop by anytime, or join us for the Hox Gallery Opening & DTLA ArtNight on Thursday, November 6th. We’ll be hanging in the lobby with free drinks for all guests, plus a live DJ set by Brenna Jordan, and passed bites from our rooftop restaurant, Inanna Bar.

RSVP here and we’ll see you there!
