FAQs for you & your furry friends

Planning your pet-friendly route in Los Angeles

Travelling with your pup in LA? Here are some insider tips to keep things smooth and sniff-friendly:

Public Transport: Dogs are allowed on Metro buses and trains if they’re in a carrier. Service animals are welcome at all times, but for pets, stick to off-peak hours when it’s less crowded.

Taxis & Rideshares: Most Lyft and Uber drivers will allow dogs, especially if you message ahead. For guaranteed pet access, use Uber Pet when booking.

On Foot: Our Downtown LA hotel is in a walkable area with access to Grand Park, LA State Historic Park, and shady sidewalks — ideal for morning walkies or an evening sniffari.

Day Trips: Heading to the beach? Rosie’s Dog Beach in Long Beach is worth the drive — it’s off-leash and totally tail-wag approved.

The Rules (just a few)

Please read our pet policy below before booking your stay.

- Only service dogs are allowed in our restaurants

- Keep them on a lead or in a carrier in shared spaces

- Don’t leave them alone in the room unless you’ve informed Reception

- Share your contact details in case of emergency

- Dogs must be vaccinated (proof might be requested)

- Always pop the “dog in room” hanger on your door
