Hox Gallery Presents: Adam James Blair - Only Now
Meet the latest artist taking over our Hox Gallery – Adam James Blair.
Adam’s exhibition ‘Only Now’ is all about colour, texture and instinct with this collection marking a new chapter in his work.
Inspired by the landscapes his late grandfather loved to paint, these pieces lean into sweeping skyscapes, layered colour and expressive oil pastels, sitting alongside earlier works to tell the story of where his practice has been and where it’s headed.
The exhibition is dedicated to his sister Wanda, whose recent passing has shaped how Adam approaches his practice, reminding him to make without hesitation, to continue, to find meaning in colour and form.
One detail we love? Every piece is framed in sourced vintage and antique frames, each with its own history, celebrating the old and the new.
