Dog Friendly Hotels in London

We roll out the welcome mat for paws and pets. Whether your pup’s a city explorer or a sofa snoozer, they’ll be right at home at The Hoxton London. No extra fees, no awkward rules – just cosy stays, walk-friendly neighbourhoods, and a few cheeky treats for your four-legged travel buddy.

We accept one dog per room, up to 40 lb in weight for no extra fee (unless they’re a rockstar and trash the room, of course). Sniff out all the deets for our pet-friendly rooms below.

Planning your pet-friendly route in London

Travelling with a dog shouldn’t be a hassle. We’ve got some insider tips to make your journey smooth and sniff-friendly:

On the Tube: Dogs are welcome on the London Underground — no ticket needed! Just keep them on a lead or in a secure carrier if they’re small.

Trains: Most local and national train services in the UK are dog-friendly. Pups usually travel free but must be kept on a lead or in a carrier.

Taxis & Rideshares: Black cabs often allow dogs, but it’s best to ask the driver first. Some rideshare drivers (like Uber) may accept dogs if you request in advance or use services like Uber Pet.

On Foot: All our London hotels are located in walkable neighbourhoods, close to parks and green spaces — perfect for a leg-stretch after your travels.

The Rules (just a few)

Please read our pet policy below before booking your stay.

- Dogs are allowed in all our London restaurants with the exception of Seabird at The Hoxton, Southwark and Llama Inn at The Hoxton, Shoreditch

- Keep them on a lead or in a carrier in shared spaces

- Don’t leave them alone in the room unless you’ve informed Reception

- Share your contact details in case of emergency

- Dogs must be vaccinated (proof might be requested)

- Always pop the “dog in room” hanger on your door
