Berlin called. Basta is coming to town.
Straight from Berlin’s Mitte to The Hoxton, Amsterdam. On 26 November, Basta Berlin is taking over Lotti’s for one night only, joining forces with Woodford Reserve for Old Fashioned Month and The Hoxton’s 20th birthday celebrations.
Known for its bold flavours, inventive cocktails and a good time that tends to last a little longer than planned, Basta is bringing a taste of Berlin to Amsterdam.
On the menu? Cacio e pepe beans, çiğ köfte tartare with pomegranate molasses, grilled calamaretti with gochujang butter and torched tuna belly. Save some room for the walnut tiramisu.
Behind the bar, expect a line-up of cocktails featuring Woodford Reserve, from Going Bananas Since 2006 and Pickleback to the BASTA Old Fashioned and Dirty Nonino.
Four cities, four Hoxtons, one Berlin favourite. With London and Paris on the itinerary, Amsterdam is next up before Basta heads to Rome.
