Old meets new

Our Florence hotel is a tale of two very different spaces. On the one hand, we have a palatial, 16th-Century pad that once belonged to the affluent Ricasoli family (inventors of Chianti wine). And then there’s a hip, minimal building designed in the 1980s by iconic Florentine architect, Andrea Branzi. The design of your hotel room is therefore a bit of an adventure: it depends on where you stay.

Renaissance glam

Our 16th Century building is dotted with Renaissance detailing, including an outdoor arcade surrounding the courtyard, lime-washed walls and original frescoes. The guest rooms reflect the local history, with nods to classical Florentine architecture.

Postmodern wow

Our Branzi Building, meanwhile, is an ode to postmodern cool. Expect minimal, linear motifs inspired by architect Branzi’s links to the Memphis design movement and its radical, eclectic style.

This winter, Hox-lovers can enjoy an early taste of our newest hotel with special discounted rates. Our signature Lobby bar will be serving breakfast, an all-day menu and evening drinks – so you won’t go hungry or thirsty. Joining the party in spring 2025 is our restaurant Alassio and wine bar Enoteca Violetta. Keep your eyes peeled for when reservations open.
