A talk by the Barbican curator on their latest exhibition

We've got Leila Hasham, Curator at the Barbican Centre, heading over to The Hoxton, Shoreditch to tell us all about their latest (and arguably one of their greatest) exhibitions which runs 14th July-4 September 2016. (As if you weren’t already aware the Barbican Centre is Europe's largest multi-arts and conference venue, meaning Leila really knows her stuff.)

Leila will be here to tell you a bit about her and how she got to where she is today, and what her day to day involves, before giving you a sneaky insight into the Ragnar Kjartansson exhibition. Ragnar has been dubbed one of the most celebrated performance artists for his combination of stage tradition with experiments in repetition and endurance.

This will be the first solo exhibition of the artist's work in the UK and it includes his most spell-binding and multi-sensory performances pieces, alongside a mix of films, paintings, sculpture and drawings...but we'll let Leila give you the details. She's been working closely with Ragnar to bring it all together so if anyone can give you the low-down on this internationally acclaimed artist, it's her!
