The Hox Gallery
The Hox Gallery is always on, woven throughout the entrance, lobby, reception and hallways of the hotel. As you move through the space, a rotating collection of artworks quietly sets the tone, bringing together local creatives, changing perspectives and a rhythm that unfolds naturally throughout the day. No set times, no fixed route, just something new to notice each time you pass through.
This time around, we’re hosting none other than Margret Wibmer. Created between New York, Douala, Kanazawa and Amsterdam, her photographs explore the female body as a site of agency, care and quiet resistance. Bodies, objects and spaces shift the way we look, gently connecting personal stories with wider cultural histories.
The exhibition is now on view at The Hoxton, Lloyd Amsterdam until the end of May.
