The Hoxton, Vienna's 196 rooms are rooted in the history and quirkiness of our Landstrasse home and 1950s building. Bedrooms range from Shoebox to Biggy, with bold rugs, warm wood and statement furniture giving retro elegance by way of early 20th century Viennese design.

M.A.K - Museum of Applied Arts

Stroll through the park to the MAK for an XL dose of diverse design: the museum’s impressive permanent collection (Klimt, glassware, Art Nouveau, lace…) is complemented by regularly changing exhibitions and a gorgeously styled courtyard restaurant. Check it out

Schmetterlinghaus / Palmenhaus

At the edge of Burggarten park – the Hofburg Palace gardens – is the magnificent restored Palm House, and within, the Schmetterlinghaus: a glorious break from city life in the company of approximately 400 tropical butterflies. Keep the green feeling going with lunch in Palmenhaus next door, where you’ll dine among the impressive plants.

Two floors of carefully curated preloved gems from different eras and a cafe (cash only) that is worth the visit alone. Take a look

Calienna

Calienna is likely Vienna's greenest store, a café, gallery, and a design studio. The name blends the words 'California' and 'Vienna,' coincidentally representing the hometowns of the shop's owners Miri and Christian. In addition to the wide array of greenery, this urban jungle store also offers coffee table books on its shelves, along with teas and coffees. Check it out

Established in 1786, Demel is a cake-based city staple. Eat Sachertorte in a traditional Viennese coffee house, gawk at the fabulous interiors, buy beautiful chocolates or pick up a Kaiserschmarrn (irresistible caramelised pancake) to go from the street-side window. Check it out
