The Hox Gallery, Paris x Thomas Pirot

In this new exhibition based on Artist Open Call program, we introduce the artist Thomas Pirot. Musician and visual artist, Thomas Pirot envisages both practices as interdependent. His work seeks to capture expressions of energies and rhythm and explore movement and flow.

A practicing musician since childhood, his visual practice emerged organically through a desire to further his research on artistic languages and ways to communicate energies, making his musical and visual work synergistic. 

His approach to painting takes on an expressionistic form: painting to music and using intuition to transcribe motion and flux. 

Écouter s’écouler is a series of work produced between 2022 and 2024, that explores the organic and lithely streams that emerge from setting his practice to ambient music.
