Eggbreak at Hox Grill

Breakfast just leveled up 

One of west London’s best brunch spots, Eggbreak, is heading east for the first time ever this summer for a pop-up at our original Hox. The Notting Hill café, which is famous for its epic egg dishes and lengthy queues, is swooping in for a six-month residency at our beloved Hox Grill from 29th July. 

This is your chance to experience Eggbreak’s signature dishes without the journey west, and, unlike the original – which is walk-in only – we’ll be taking reservations. Meaning no more waiting in line for your brunch fix… we got you.

The menu will feature all the signatures as well as one or two specials, including an extra-special dish launching on August 1st; the Old Chang Kee – a Nasi Lemak (the ultimate Singaporean breakfast) made with OCK’s sambal and curry paste, fragrant rice cooked in coconut milk, and topped with a fried egg.

The Eggbreak classics

• Eggybreak Melt – Potato bun, roasted red pepper jam, American sliced cheddar and scrambled eggs. 
• EBC Toasty – Brioche, hardwood smoked bacon, free-range sunny side egg, American sliced cheddar, chipotle ketchup
• Hot Honey French Toast – Savoury French toast, za’atar, cherry tomatoes, poached eggs, labneh, pickled onion, hot honey
• Turkish Eggs – Poached eggs, dill yoghurt, smoked paprika
• Cheese toastie – Brioche bun, roasted red pepper jam, American sliced cheddar, scrambled eggs

It’s not all about eggs

• Fried chicken sandwich – Buttermilk fried chicken, scotch bonnet jam, pickled ginger, cream cheese and a fried egg, stacked on a potato brioche bun
• Caesar salad – Cos lettuce, sweet chilli peppers, olive oil cracked croutons and parmesan tossed with our house Caesar dressing and topped with a poached egg
• BBQ pulled Lamb – White rice with crispy shallots, poached egg and peanut rayu.
• Eggbreak burger – Exclusive to The Hox and topped with bacon and a fried egg.

• Nutella French Toast – Cornflakes, mascarpone
• Ari’s Pancakes – Banana, raspberries and salted caramel butter
• Reina’s Banana Bread – Clotted cream and blueberries 

Thirsty? Our Summer Slushies include a Tahini Frozen Coffee, created in collaboration with Origins, is made from cold brew coffee, roast tahini, date syrup, and oat milk. There’s also the Strawberry Coconut Matcha Slushie – with frozen Rare Tea Co matcha, fresh strawberry, coconut, freeze-dried strawberry mixed – the perfect summer pick-me-up.
