The Green House

Where The Green House at Albie
When July - September 2022
Time Summer

Sit back, relax and enjoy a selection of botanical spritzes & summertime serves in The Green House – a community-minded destination designed to host a variety of experiences throughout the summer in verdant surroundings; green-fingered workshops, inspirational horticultural talks, ambient cocktail moments, DJ sets, the GREY GOOSE® Summer Sorbet Cart and Camionette Bar and much, much more. Keep an eye on The Green House schedule for upcoming events throughout summer!

Inspired by traditional glasshouses and iconic summer pavilions, and designed in partnership with GREY GOOSE® Essences, The Green House is a tranquil green haven offering an escape from the hectic day-to-day. Kick back and enjoy the green space; good for mind, body and soul.

Planted by Bankside Open Spaces Trust, a charity dedicated to greening our local urban spaces with sustainability & community in mind, the garden is managed by BOST’s Future Gardeners scheme – an innovative training and work experience scheme giving participants the core skills to gain entry-level jobs in the horticulture industry without having any previous experience or specialist education. Boasting a variety of veg, fruits and herbs all using peat-free soil and UK-sourced plants from local partner The Nunhead Gardener, The Green House garden is also planted with crucially-needed pollinating companion flowers to support urban bees. All the planting and produce at the end of the summer will be donated onward to local community gardens and residents through BOST’s network.

The Green House’s living herb garden is practical as well as striking, providing fresh cocktail ingredients and herbs for Albie’s specially-curated serves and plates, and allows guests to pick their own drink garnishes, creatively infusing botanically inspired tipples to perfection.
