Eggbreak at Hox Grill

One of west London’s best brunch spots has headed east for the first time ever. The awesome Eggbreak – whose epic egg dishes inspire round-the-block queues at its Notting Hill joint – has popped up at our OG Hox in Shoreditch.

For six months from 29 July, you can experience Eggbreak’s famed signature dishes right here at Hox Grill (and don’t worry, we’ll be taking reservations, so you get to skip the journey west and the line).

The menu will feature all the Eggbreak classics, such as Turkish eggs and the EBC toastie, as well as one or two specials; don’t miss the Old Chang Kee launching 1 August (think Singaporean breakfast staple nasi lemak made with sambal, fragrant coconut rice and a fried egg). The Eggbreak classics

• Eggbreaky Melt – Potato bun, roasted red pepper jam, American sliced cheddar and scrambled eggs. 
• EBC ToastIE – Brioche, hardwood smoked bacon, free-range sunny side egg, American sliced cheddar, chipotle ketchup
• Hot Honey French Toast – Savoury French toast, za’atar, cherry tomatoes, poached eggs, labneh, pickled onion, hot honey
• Turkish Eggs – Poached eggs, dill yoghurt, smoked paprika
• Cheese Toastie – Brioche bun, roasted red pepper jam, American sliced cheddar, scrambled eggs

It’s not all about eggs

• Sweet ’n’ Spicy Chicken Sandwich – Buttermilk fried chicken, scotch bonnet jam, pickled ginger, cream cheese and a fried egg, stacked on a potato brioche bun
• Our Cracking Caesar Salad – Cos lettuce, sweet chilli peppers, olive oil cracked croutons and parmesan tossed with our house Caesar dressing and topped with a poached egg
• Spicy BBQ Pulled Lamb – White rice with crispy shallots, poached egg and peanut rayu.
• Eggbreak Burger – Exclusive to The Hox, and topped with bacon and a fried egg.

• Ari’s Pancakes – Banana, raspberries and salted caramel butter
• Reina’s Banana Bread – Clotted cream and blueberries 

Thirsty? Our Summer Slushies include the tasty Tahini Frozen Coffee, created in collab with Origin Coffee – a flavourful mix of cold brew coffee, roast tahini, date syrup and oat milk.
