Our Story…

Just like our doors, our minds are open too. Since we opened our first hotel in Shoreditch, London in 2006, we’ve never just been about offering a bed for the night. We want to be more than that, providing a place where guests can hang out alongside the locals and submerse themselves in the neighborhood with vibrant, welcoming public spaces. Then there's our eclectic program of monthly events where we bring the outside in, working with local creatives to curate events unique to each location.

We proved that style didn’t need to be sacrificed for value and honest pricing is still very much at the heart of everything we do. We opened our second London hotel in 2014, followed by Amsterdam in 2015, Paris in 2017 and Williamsburg, Portland, Los Angeles, and Chicago all coming soon. Each hotel has its own character; however, you’ll find the familiar Hoxton Hustle, incorporating the uniqueness of their neighborhoods using local designers, artists, and illustrators for everything from interiors to wallpaper, art and neighborhood guides.

The Hoxton, Williamsburg is on the site of the Rosenwach factory, the maker of the iconic NYC water towers. Featuring 175 bedrooms, a vibrant public area, restaurant, terrace bar, and roof desk along with The Apartment, our events and meeting space; The Hoxton, Williamsburg will be at the center of the Williamsburg community.

The details…

  • You’ll be responsible for developing and executing a pre-opening and annual sales plan with the Revenue team and VP of Sales for North America.
  • You and your team will source, drive and grow revenue in the Business Travel, Groups, Meetings and Social Events segments – no small feat!
  • Plug the gaps, set and adjust strategies and ensure objectives and revenue targets are achieved. Maximize market share and increased conversion is the name of the game.
  • RFP season! You’ll oversee the Business Travel negotiations, track and record progress and oversee the rate loading process
  • It’s all about account penetration and market share, right? Sales trips, trade shows, fam trips, agent presentations – you know the drill. Those days when you entertain a different client for breakfast, lunch and dinner all in one day are REAL.
  • You’ll set prospecting and researching activities and get those appointments booked in. It’s always quality over quantity.

About you...

  • You have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a senior sales role in a New York hotel.
  • You are passionate about Hotel sales and are goal-driven.
  • You function well in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a challenge.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent attention to detail
  • You get us. You know our hotels, maybe you’ve hung out in our bars and possibly regretted that last cocktail the next morning.
  • Your glass is half full, always
  • You'll contribute to the hospitality industry by being involved in local committees, championing career development or attending networking events.
