We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager, to join our team with The Hoxton, Paris.

About us...

In 2017, we’ll be opening the doors of The Hoxton, Paris, our fourth hotel in Europe. Located in the city's 2nd arrondissement in an 18th century hotel particulier designed by Nicolas d’Orbay, The Hoxton, Paris will embrace the building’s history with its Parisian façade and its original spiral staircases, courtyards and glazed lobby. The hotel has 172 rooms, a restaurant, a speakeasy, a lobby café and a meeting and events space. The neighbourhood, which is well known as a thriving business district, is also home to some of the best new restaurants and fashion stores, with many more exciting openings to come. The Hoxton gives each person who comes through the doors an experience - a chance to hang out with the locals and discover the neighbourhood.

Our Story...

Ennismore is a London based owner and developer of hospitality properties and experiences around the world. Part developer, part operator and part creative studio. We have built a multi-disciplinary team that specialise in hotels, resorts, bars, restaurants and unique experiences.

We don't go for strict long winded job descriptions, we all like to get mucked in, however here's an idea of how we see the role. 

Main Responsibilities...

  • To set the brand standards for the restaurant
  • To recruit, lead, train and motivate the F&B team in delivering exceptional service.
  • Manage the day-to-day restaurant operation.
  • Your team will be a bunch of high-energy people who love their guests and being themselves - you'll be managing them to be the best they can be.
  • To drive sales and maximise profits whilst controlling operational expenses.
  • Strong analytical skills will be required to be applied to, operational reviews, analyse the competition, market studies etc.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
  • Check stock levels, order supplies and prepare cash drawers and petty cash.

Likely Background. . .

  • You have a high level of verbal and written communication skills and competent computer skills.
  • You speak additional lingos – French and English.
  • Previous experience as a Assistant Restaurant Manager.
  • The ability to lead and motivate and influence your team.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • You jump out of bed every morning, fizzing with energy and jazzed about what you’re doing today.
  • You get us. You know our hotels, maybe you’ve hung out in our bars and possibly regretted that last cocktail the next morning.
  • You get stuff done!.
  • We do like to try (almost) everything once – so do you.
  • You are humble.  There are no egos, and no drama.
