About Us           Ennismore is a London based owner and developer of unique hospitality properties and experiences around the world. Part developer, part operator and part creative studio, we have built a multi-disciplinary team that specialize in hotels, resorts, bars, restaurants and unique experiences. We’re currently crafting the global expansion of The Hoxton, from one hotel to many, building on the legacy of the Scottish landmark Gleneagles, as well as launching several brand new, standalone restaurant concepts.


The Details

Spread the word…get the buzz going…get your hustle on… get people excited about The Hoxton and the growth in North America. The position will be based out of Hox House NYC in Williamsburg and you’ll be supported locally by the Director of PR, North America and Globally by the Global Communications Director in London. You’ll be expected to work on pre- and post-opening media outreach, stays and pitches and while we don’t go in for strict job descriptions, here’s an idea of how we see the role.

Influencer relationships and strategy

  • proactive outreach to influencers
  • hosting meals, site tours, etc and developing relationships on behalf of the brand
  • handling logistics surrounding visits/events andprogramming
  • creative ideation to stay relevant with influencers, including building partnerships and programming (such as regular blogger brunches)

PR support and outreach

  • Generating consistent positive press for Hoxton in target North American press, through new and existing press relationships
  • Regular proactive pitching of press and brainstorming new/creative stories
  • Driving awareness and supporting hotel events
  • Hosting media and maintaining media relationships on behalf of the brand (for meals, site tours, shoots)

 Social media

  • capturing content of the hotel(s), events and partners on a regular basis to post or share with brand team
  • Creating and overseeing strategy and posting on Facebook for N American properties, with support from brand, and on-site Cultural Marketing Managers

“back of house” work for the PR team

  • creating/updating media lists
  • tracking/sharing coverage
  • creating/updating press materials
  • creating/tracking bookings for media and influencers
  • regular communication with London and N American teams about upcoming events, media visits.


About You

  •  You have 3-5 years of PR experience, working in hospitality is desirable but not essential.
  • You have a black book of media contacts with whom you already have strong working relationships.
  • You know how to write; copy-writing and editing are essential to this role.
  • You have a passion for hospitality, a creative energy and a thirst for knowledge.
  • You understand the media cycle and have a sense of urgency when it comes to getting the word out.
  • You’re approachable and know the importance of relationships, both external and internal.
  • You have great Social Media skills and have a full understanding of the word of influencers.
  • You already know our hotels, and perhaps have even hung out in our lobby or bar.
  • Ability to take ownership of important issues, solve problems and make effective decisions.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to The Hoxton’s unique culture.
  • Ability to work positively and collaboratively to achieve the highest standards of delivery at work.
  • You’ll live and breathe each of The Hoxton’s leadership behaviors.
