Product Development Internship – 6 months

The Hoxton, Hox House London

We’ve got an opportunity for a 6-month internship in our Product Development team.  If you have a passion for product development and design – whether interior design, clothing, cosmetics, books, homeware or food – then the product development internship could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Ennismore works with amazing brand partners to develop high-end branded products which find a fitting home in our retail spaces; new and old. You’ll be working on design concepts through to finished article, across a large variety of categories and products – this could be from working on our own fine foods brand, to managing a luxury leather goods collaboration.

Your main job will be helping out with the product development (from design stage through to production) for the creation of new brands and products, exciting projects for The Hoxton and Gleneagles. For this you’ll assist in creating presentations, like competitor analysis and inspiration decks, as well as keeping the product deck presentations up to date.  You’ll also provide general admin support to our Product Director.

But most of all, you’ll learn a lot and have fun in a fast-paced, vibrant environment; being part of the brand team means there are always interesting things happening.

What you’ll do:

With our start up mentality, everyone tends to pitch in where needed, but here’s an overview of how we see the role:

  • Follow up and support with development and production; assist in sourcing, prepare technical packs and working documents and the like
  • Identify, research and propose new product ideas
  • Liaise with the different departments and teams across The Hoxton & Gleneagles
  • Quality controlling – make sure the products are up to the high standard we hold them to
  • Create competitor analyses through online research and in-store visits – and produce visual reports
  • Make sure that within the brand team all assets are distributed and updated
  • Assist with general admin requirements

The kind of person we’re looking for:

  • This is an entry-level role for a current student or recent graduate with a focus on product development (or related creative studies)
  • You’re passionate about product design, the way things look & feel, stay on top of trends in the design world
  • Enthusiastic, confident, with a positive outlook; you’ll be working with lots of different people on many different things, so a can-do approach is key
  • You combine a creative brain with a flair for organising and keeping to deadlines
  • You’re proactive and happy to take action; the role will be what you make of it
  • Confident in working with Microsoft Office & Keynote; adobe skills are a plus but not essential
  • You’re looking to be part of a team that works hard but has fun with it along the way

If you are looking to broaden your mind and skills and work on loads of different projects and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in this is the job for you!
