Social & PR Executive

We’re looking for a Social & PR Executive to join us and support our team at our ‘HQ’ working on The Hoxton and other exciting brands.

 

It’s a great opportunity to gain social media and PR experience in a fast-paced, young company who prides itself on doing things differently. Our team is a creative and ambitious bunch and you’ll get to work on projects & initiatives from hotel launches to influencer brunches.

 

What you’ll do…

 

  • Support our Social Media Manager with taking snaps, community management, content calendars and feed planning, with a view to manage and own channels further down the line
  • Support the PR team on day to day activities including managing media booking logs, handling reactive press requests, taking care of our monthly communications report and keeping on top of our contact database
  • Build and maintain long-term relations with influencers and journalists
  • Draft, edit and proofread press releases

 

What we’re looking for…

 

  • Previous experience in a social media role would be fantastic
  • You’re a culture vulture, consuming all the newspapers and magazines you can
  • You’re obsessed by all things food and drink, and know what’s the latest hotel opening in town
  • You know your Instagram post from your Twitter, and know what makes an engaging post
  • You naturally want to support the people around you; others have most likely described you as a ‘People person’ and you’re great at building relationships
  • Nothing escapes your eagle eye for detail even when you’re spinning multiple plates at once
  • You’re looking for a place where you can be you; no clones in suits here
  • You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get shit done
  • Keen to learn and pick up new things – you have ambitions to progress in the world of PR
  • You’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once
