We’re launching our very own version of coworking – and looking for a Membership Manager to get involved from the very beginning.

We have always done coworking...Since 2006 The Hoxton has been home to laptop savvy workers making use of super-fast Wi-Fi and comfy sofas as they hustle away in a place that feels like home. So it feels only natural for us to take our love for great experiences and create a space that offers everything you need to do your (other) day job or take over the world, in our stylish and comfortable surroundings.

Our first US coworking site will be part of The Hoxton, Chicago, opening later this year, and have something for everyone. Think hot-desking, open studios and dedicated offices, events & wellness spaces, a member café & bar, and a stimulating events program. 

What you'll do

  • A membership relations focused role - all about engagement and retention, not just a sale!
  • Strategic and involved - proactive sales will be your thing
  • Oversee the day to day management of all things membership related
  • Spearhead initiatives to achieve the targets set for growth and engagement - lifestyle benefits, distinctive membership privileges and strategic collaborations with market leaders
  • Team leadership - recruitment, onboarding, development and day to day leading of a great, motivated team
  • A pivotal role in our pre-opening team, you will work closely with the General Manager and our Director of Coworking to fill our new home and make our new venture a success

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar Membership sales role (coworking would be great). A blend of coworking and hospitality is our perfect combo
  • Proven track record managing sales teams – leading, motivating, rewarding
  • Equally creative and strategic in approach – able to strategise, plan, deliver and problem solve
  • Exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, juggling many things at once, but always dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s
  • A track record managing effective, driven and successful sales teams
  • Market knowledge – your finger will be well and truly on the pulse, knowing your target audience and avenues of engagement available to you
  • Individuals. If you are looking for a place where you can be you (no clones in suits here) this could be for you
  • Passion for hospitality and great service - you get a kick out of getting people to those aha! moments. You’re all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience
  • You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get shit done. You know when you are wrong and admit to it. You take criticism as an opportunity to grow. You are grateful and humble
  • You enjoy solving problems. You love taking on difficult challenges and finding creative solutions. You don’t get flustered easily. If you don’t know the answer, you’ll dig until you find it
