Ennismore is a London and New York based creator of unique hospitality experiences; part developer, part  operator and part creative studio.  Our fast-growing family includes The Hoxton, a series of open-house hotels; Gleneagles, the iconic glorious playground in the Scottish Highlands; and several standalone restaurants in          London. In 2017, Ennismore branched out into products, launching Gleneagles & Co, a range of artisan fine foods, and Blank, a bathroom amenities line that you’ll find in The Hoxton.

The Details

You will lead the pre-opening project on the ground and report directly into the Director of Coworking. Assisting in taking the project through project stage to full operation.

Responsible for the recruitment of the operation teams, ensuring pre-determined budgets are adhered too.

Working closely with the Membership Manager to ensure pre-opening membership targets and operational sales targets and retention levels (once operational) are being achieved and assist in the process of membership sales as and when required.

Working closely with the Hotel General Manager on crossover operations and building specific systems. Attend Hotel Operational meetings as and when required.

Take ownership of the operational plan and work towards having all teams fully understanding the operational process through regular training sessions.

During operations you will be fully responsible for the budgets and achieving of financial targets, revenue and cost.

Work closely with the Hotel Team to develop an eclectic programming and social events calendar for our members.

            Overall responsibilities:

  • You set the tone and are the standard bearer for all team members.
  • Creates an environment that is in accordance with the Service Pillars set out in the Operation Essentials Manual.
  • Monitors team member and member satisfaction and initiates action to correct and direct.
  • Monitors individual house financials and initiates action when required.
  • Oversees development and maintenance of quality service standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and working with the team to establish Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintains an appropriate level of involvement with local arts and cultural community to help cultivate relationships that are on brand and help promote our mission.
  • Develops accurate and aggressive short and long term financial objectives that are consistent with company goals.
  • Prepares financial reports for management that clearly explain operational effectiveness, trends and variances.
  • Establishes and maintains a progressive culture through human resource support function that helps ensure that team members are motivated and developed.
  • Oversite of day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring that all departments are functioning at high level, ensuring 360 degrees of hospitality to all members.
  • Actively meets with and discusses member experience on a regular basis, connecting members with each other when appropriate, responding to member issues and inquiries and establishing culture of communication and curiosity.
  • Identifies and helps establish and execute marketing, sales, and operational objectives producing results that exceed business expectations.
  • Helps to plan and organizes the work of different departments within the space.
  • Explains house needs to, relies on, works with, clears the path for, and sets expectations for all team members.
  • Promotes and helps create a culture of curiosity.
  • Accepts full responsibility for his/her home.
  • Works with Senior Leadership Team to create new Strategies to promote and execute on brand objectives.
