Is it an ape?

London based, Milan born artist, Otto D’Ambra is bringing his new exhibition Animalarium from Curious Duke Gallery over to our Hoxtown gallery at The Hoxton, Shoreditch. Like any kid, as a child Otto's imagination led him to create some weird and wonderful art, but he honed it in and developed his etching as his signature technique. His work is all about strong images, with a kooky surrealist twist.

This exhibition is all about developing that style with the incorporation of the animal kingdom, so don’t be surprised to see stags with lobster claws as antlers, or fish with butterfly wings – it’s all part of it!

Want to see? His artwork will be popping up from June through till August.
