The Details

With the Revenue team and VP of Sales for North America you’ll develop and execute a pre-opening sales plan for new hotel openings and an annual sales plan for our trading hotels. The position will be based out of Hox House NYC in Williamsburg and you’ll be supported locally by VP of Sales for North America. While we don’t go in for strict job descriptions, here’s an idea of how we see the role.

  • With the Revenue team and VP of Sales for North America you’ll develop and execute a pre-opening sales plan for new hotel openings and an annual sales plan for our trading hotels.
  • Plug the gaps, set and adjust strategies and ensure your account objectives and personal revenue targets are achieved.
  • You will source, drive and grow Groups Meetings & Events revenue for our hotels in US and Europe.
  • It’s all about account penetration and market share. Sales trips, trade shows, fam trips, agent presentations – you know the drill.
  • You’ll set prospecting and researching activities and get those appointments booked in. It’s always quality over quantity.
  • Month end reports and updating the CRM – we all have to do it but it’s a great way to shout about your successes and highlight your learnings.
  • Conversion is the name of the game! You support our hotels from a central perspective and help get those large pieces of business across the line.
  • You’ll help drive meetings inquires via our website and audit the online customer journey to ensure the process is quick and easy for clients.
  • You’ll work with our European Global Sales Team to align strategies and oversee shared relationships & partnerships
  • Cvent, Hotel Planner, Tour Connection, Helms – you’ll know how to get the best out of lead generation partners to help understand market trends and set the strategy.

 

About You

  • You have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a senior sales role selling multiple hotels and markets.
  • You are passionate about Hotel sales and are goal-driven.
  • You function well in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a challenge.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent attention to detail.
  • You'll contribute to the hospitality industry by being involved in local committees, championing career development or attending networking events.
  • You get us. You already know our hotels, and perhaps have even hung out in our lobby or bar.
  • Ability to take ownership of important issues, solve problems and make effective decisions.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to The Hoxton’s unique culture.
  • Ability to work positively and collaboratively to achieve the highest standards of delivery at work.
