24 hours at The Hoxton, Herengracht Amsterdam.
As an official ADE partner, we invited UK-based rave DJ @Sherelle_ to experience Amsterdam from the other side of the decks, teaming up with local Hox Friend @loetvanderstraten to explore the neighbourhood.
They stopped by @foam_amsterdam, Sherelle’s favourite gallery nearby, before lunch at @restaurantdekas, where the day’s harvest becomes the afternoon’s menu. Later, cocktails and a boogie at @sfamsterdam, where they stopped for a quick chat with Loet’s friend and owner, Daan. Then over to The Hoxton, right in the heart of it all for ADE.
Amsterdam came alive with coffee shop raves, dancing in the streets, and music around every corner. Same time next year?
Our Neighbourhood
The Nine Streets, or De Negen Straatjes as they’re called in Dutch, are home to some of the city’s hidden gems. Homegrown brands, speciality cafes and gourmet restaurants line the streets, making the canal-lined areas one of the most happening places to hangout in the Dam. Eat well and shop happy.
Canal Houses
The Hoxton is situated in the middle of the canal district. Doesn’t matter if you turn left of right, canal houses, bridges with bikes, picturesque alley’s and royal palaces or churches are just a few steps away.
Van der Linde
This generations-old ice-cream shop only offers Vanilla Ice Cream (yep, that's it!). Don't expect experimental flavours & stacks of scoops and toppings. Their secret recipe of Vanilla Ice Cream is sooo tasty and creamy (it’s almost like Whipped Cream) that you really don't need anything else.Our Neighbourhood

Painted Stories XL by Anne Stooker

Having completed over 100 stories, Stooker is now displaying her illustrations in an extra-large format at The Hoxton, Amsterdam.
